Prius is setting at a Toyota dealership having just put on a new remanufactured battery from greentec and a new Optima battery. One of the brake lines rusted… And the dealership is quoting about $1000 to repair that. I have posted some threads on Prius chat about having to replace battery under warranty and I'm not confident in my ability to fix or even find a good job in Little Rock Arkansas for the next time something happens. New tires and wheels 2 years ago. Front struts last year. Nice interior, some rust underneath, but not on body. Can send details pics. I bought this for 3500 on 2/2013 and have put about 3500 in it. Make offer. iPhone ?
Rusted brake line means car has lived in a rust belt state and may have similar underbody issues in the future. Too bad, it otherwise looks quite nice. I have plenty of rust free used gen1 parts if whoever buys this car wants to fix it themselves. (cars in Colorado almost never have rust because they don't use salt here and the air is very dry).
Thanks Paul! I am a motivated seller. I will probably fix the brakes, but Still sell it with its battery with 0 miles on it! iPhone ?
Update: Brakes are fixed. One of you Prius guys come steal this thing away from me. 2001 Toyota Prius iPhone ?
