The Japanese version of the 2007 Prius will be able to back itself into a parking spot on its own. But the news segment that showed it doing so said that version will not be sold in the U.S. Probably because of litigation potential. I can't remember the other changes to the 2007 other than that they weren't a lot.

Err.. the 2004 Japanese Prius had the IPA option already. It was the first car with that feature. The new 06 Japanese Prius has an HDD navigation system... and we thought our DVD-based systems were cool...

My Garmin Street Pilot has all of North America in memory, right out of the box. No DVD, no HD. I think it's some kind of flash memory for upgradability, but I'm not at all sure of that.

It doesn't matter WHAT the '07 has on it because it'll be a stinking pile of you-know-what when the sweeeet 3G Prius hits the market in '09 or '10!

There's going to be a lot, I mean a LOT of Hybrids by then. I really hope Toyota can keep the Prius as cutting edge as the 2G was in '04!

I expect they will. Just my guess. But I'm willing to put down my deposit, sight unseen, the moment they start accepting deposits.
