Just ordered these and planned tp replace my current fogs with these...too bad USPS decided to mis-deliver my 2 sets (prius and tacoma)....will report back how they work. I have those currently on my car but they are yellow. If you wait. It go down to $69.99. His price change on and off

 

I ordered a pair of fogs and i dropped it about a foot height and broke it.

 

That sucks. I did that on my BMW fog before. Now I put a carpet under car if I do any work.

 

Got my TRD sway bar and just need to install it.
Did a little night cruise and snap a cell pic

 

Its a learning lesson now that I broke both fogs. Now I need some old comforter to work on it.

 

Fogs installed will do the wiring after work tonight.

 

Has anyone attempted to swap in a different motor in a 3rd Gen prii say like a corolla or camry motor . I Google it and got a few pics of a 2nd Gen but they made it a rwd and of course the green drift car 3rd Gen . Anyone successfully did a motor swap

 

If you’re only talking about swapping the engine:
Maybe you could swap in the 2zr-fe or 2zr-fae (original engine is 2zr-fxe), if we are talking about gen 3.
Or 1nz-fe (original engine is 1nz-fe), if we are talking about gen 2.
Both of those would require lots of parts to be transferred from Prius engine to new engine. So somebody might even say that they aren’t full engine swaps.

If you’re talking about swapping the hole drivetrain:
Then you can swap anything into anything that it will fit in…
If you want to keep it hybrid then maybe it would be possible to put Camry hybrid powertrain into Prius…
In case of Hybrid drivetrain swap you do need to swap a lot more parts than just engine and transaxle. Probably even some brake parts...


Anyways most of those are going to be super hard. And most of people would say that end result isn’t going to be worth the time and money required. That’s why there aren’t any around.

started at 8am and finished around 2pm. so ~6hrs. Cured each painted piece as well to avoid fogging. Definitely one of the hardest mods. Super scary prying it open and thinking you're bending the plastic housing. Will do night shots to see if the "all black" headlights with zero chrome actually does anything.
