The stereotyping of people who drive hybird vehicles has gotten a little out of hand. Absolutely nothing in the article even applies to me. <_< Hybrid Cars: Chariots of the New “Metrospiritual†- Save the Environment and Save Money With Tax Credits
What the heck is this? A more trendy term for this group of Whole Foods-shopping, Prius-driving, tea-drinking, yoga-practicing men and women is “metrospiritual.†It’s a $227 billion market segment that strives to make sure its buying habits jibe with its values—and it’s growing. The fact that in most cases the savings at the gas pump don’t appear to outweigh the higher sticker price of hybrid vehicles only serves to bolster that sense of community. The hybrid owner has made a choice to value saving the environment over saving money and if they get to feel a little smug about it as they pull in to a free municipal parking spot reserved for hybrids, well, why not? metrospiritual??? I guess its better than being labled "Metrosexual" LMAO

I wonder what Ram owners are? and don't tell me macho cause the drivers I've seen aren't buff. Here, Escalades are driven by tiny little women. When I mean tiny, I mean you can't see the driver when you look through the passenger side window.
OMFG whole foods: too broke to go there, unless we care to live on lettuce. scratch that, even that's too expensive. prius driving: ding ding din tea-drinking: uh. never really picked up that taste yoga: tried it once. hated it. never went back. organic wine: what?

it could be a lot worse, don't you think? but then this coming from a whole foods shopping, nalgene bottle toting yoga freak. i actually prefer coffee to tea and stick with spanish wines--which last time i checked--were not organic.

It's like the horoscope that says "you will talk to someone today"
whole foods - closest one is 40 min. away; I go there once in a great while prius driving - obviously tea-drinking - sometimes; mainly a coffee drinker yoga - did do it for awhile; have to say it was relaxing ipod nano - yes, I have one; not sure what it has to do with being "spiritual" organic wine - when Chateau Haut-Brion goes organic, so will I OK- I guess I might be one of those metro... um, what did they call it?
another WEAK attempt to convince fence sitters that the Prius will not save you money on gas. well, it does. and 2 years ago, it would have taken me 12 years to make money back. now that i have driven my Prius for 21 months, i now need to go about 3-4 more years farther to make up my hybrid premium... wow those 12 years sure FLEW by!! ....hehehe time is speeding faster and faster and faster every day...
