Backup camera on 2013 Prius C Three

    hello,
    I am in a process of buying a 2013 Prius C three and my goal is to put in a backup camera after. Dealer says it doesn't have the GPS but it has the larger screen. i've attached a picture of it. I thought GPS was a standard feature in 2013 C three.

    Will it still be possible to add a backup camera in it without the gps unit? Do you have to have GPS to install the backup camera?

    Not sure about adding a camera, but this car has gps. I wouldn't trust what the dealer says.

    how can you be so sure? is it standard on c three?

    You'll have to buy a rear camera input harness. Also the power for the camera from the harness is 6V not 12.

    Thank you. So do i need the gps in it? the dealer says it is not there.

    This will be my first toyota and prius c. Is there any place i can find the options that was available 2013? I wanted to be sure of what 2013 Prius C Thee had as option and this particular one has everything necessary to install a backup camera.

    There is a great back up camera thread in the audio and electronics prius c forum. Check that thread. For 2012 and 2013 you do not need a harness if you get the right kit. It comes with a 6v camera. Check the thread for links to various camera solutions.
