<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(priusguy04 @ Apr 16 2006, 05:01 PM) </div> In Pittsfield Mass the gas prices are up also. I paid 2.76 for regular yesterday and that was with a 5 cent per gal discount. I sure am glad that we have our new Prius. My other car is a GMC Suburban and it really hurts to fill that one up. In New Jersey, it's fluctuated between $2.39 - $2.65 over the past 2 weeks. And just a reminder, they pump it for you! Let's here it for Jersey & Oregon!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(emizzion @ Apr 17 2006, 11:21 AM) </div> OMG! 5.72 a Gallon!!!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(emizzion @ Apr 17 2006, 08:21 AM) </div> But in Norway, you don't pay $30 for an aspirin in the hospital as we do.
Huntington Beach, CA (coastal Orange County) Chevron: $2.89 (cheap stuff that I get) $2.99 (midrange) $3.09 (premium) Arco: $2.75 (cheap stuff that I get) $2.85 (midrange) $2.95 (premium)
It depends... in the morning it might be 2.85, then in the afternoon it is 2.89, then the next morning it might be 2.77, and then in 2 hours 2.91..... I think I am going to stand on the street corner and just wait for it to be where I like then run like hell to pump before they change the price again...and this is one of the cheaper La Mesa stations.
Gas prices in my neighborhood for regular unleaded went from $2.889 on Friday to $2.959 today. I expect it will be $3.00 by the weekend. I live in the west end of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(priusguy04 @ Apr 16 2006, 04:01 PM) </div> priusguy, I'm in the panhandle (near Destin) and gas prices are 2.89 for reg as of sunday. Sad but not as sad if I still had my 4runner
After reading this, I don't feel so bad. We're paying around $2.70 here in Austin. Of course, we had rolling blackouts today. I'm not optimistic about gas, electricity, or politics at the moment. Who is?
4/17/06 $2.66 at Costco in Sacramento. WOW, I really don't feel bad. Not only is that in what is usually comparatively-freakin'-high-gas-price-California, I'm driving a Prius . . . so even if the price were double, I wouldn't feel bad. I'm driving a Prius, and I'm driving it in California.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(gippah @ Apr 18 2006, 02:11 AM) </div> Well I guess the rolling brown or black out would not do an EV vehicle any good either.. The last time we had the fuel crunch here we would have 3-4 rolling brown outs per a 24 hr period a cpl of times a week so I can feel your pain
The station across from Union Station in Los Angeles is selling the cheap (regular grade) gas for $3.41/gallon. Thank goodness I don't have to fill up there!!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(priusguy04 @ Apr 18 2006, 06:16 PM) </div> Brent crude went for $72.64 a barrel today! Breaking a post Katrina record. If we hit Iran, I bet ya it will be over a $100.00
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(dsunman @ Apr 18 2006, 04:30 PM) </div> Heard the same thing today...here's comes rising prices (probably already did rise somewhere in town in the last 20 minutes). I bought gas last Thursday for $2.649, Friday it went to $2.799 (I heard on the news on Wednesday there would be gas increases in NM). Today, it will probably be $2.899 for the regular old unleaded. I'm so glad I bought the Prius in February...people are going to be jumping trying to buy them!
