Put in a set of 9005 Nokia hyper yellow in place of the OEM brights. Nice difference. On a dark winding road, normally the OEM brights light up road ahead of you. With the hyper yellow's, the road AND surrounding trees light up for a satisfying almost daylight effect.
I use yellow 9005 bulbs for my highbeams/DRLs as well. Hardly ever use highbeams, but I like the yellow DRLs better than the orangish color clear bulbs have when in DRL mode.
I have Nokia hyper yellow H11 bulbs in my foglights. The extra contrast is good for rainy conditions.
Correct, 9005 halogen are 65w. Though I currently have yellow 42w H10 halogen bulbs fitted in my highbeams on both cars. I had to trim down one of the three tabs on the base of the H10 bulbs to get them to fit in the 9005 mounting holes, but I like the darker yellow color the low wattage bulbs put out for DRL use. I almost never use my highbeams, so I went with DRL functionality over highbeam brightness.
