Just replaced my headlights within the past 4 months. Last night, I go to turn on headlights and nothing turns on, not even the parking lights. High beams work just fine. Checked fuses this morning - fuse for low beams is fine. Not sure why all 4 lights would fail at the same time? A fuse was all I could think of besides pure coincidence. Any help on ideas is appreciated! Edit: Relay clicks when switch is turned on and dash dims as normal.
Do you hear the relay click when you turn the switch to the lowbeam position? If not, then you still have a bad fuse, a bad relay, or a bad combination switch.
How did you check the lowbeam fuse? Visually, or with an ohmmeter/multimeter for continuity? If you have a meter, check the fuse and both headlight bulbs for continuity. Then if all is good you can rule them out as the source of your problem. At this point, it's probably a bad fuse.
Don't have one - just visually checked - but I'm sure FIL has one. I'll have him check and see if anything comes up. If nothing - I'll be back . Thanks!
