So I made the plunge. I traded in my 2012 Prius 3 BP for a 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE Silver/Black. I'll have to get used to 10 less MPG. But overall I'm happy with the Camry. Much more room, quieter, comfier seats, no bleeping backup beeping, and the manual isn't an NYC phone book. The car has some serious torque. The Eco mode is much peppier than the Prius Power mode. I took the car off Eco and had to put it back on because it was too peppy for me. LOL I have to take her back to get the CTX Llumar tint and XM radio installed ( which I talked them into giving me for free). So sticker was 28,813 I got them talked down to 26,000, free tint and XM for 309+570 so really I got them down to 25,121. (Below invoice), then 1,500 cash from Toyota so I got down to 23,621 (24,500). My Trade I got them to go from the paltry measly amount of 14,100 to 16,900 which is actually about 400 more than KBB in my area and like 7 grand less than what I paid for the Prius.. I pulled the "I didn't have this much hassle buying from (big time competitor) using my credit union's auto advisor program. Why is this place so difficult?" I also started walking out a couple times dialing the auto advisors number on my cell. The manager finally started handling the deal because I think the salesman was getting flustered. Did I mention the car was built this month in KY? It hadn't been on the lot very long and when I test drove it there was only 2 miles on the odometer. After the 10 mile test drive, I drove off the lot with 12 miles on it after purchase.i also drove off the lot with equity even after that initial plunge in value. Be the bish, embrace the bish. I'll miss my Prius but I felt it was time for a change. I hope whomever gets Princess Pea appreciates all the mods I put in her. I won't be modding the Camry. Ok, that's a lie. I've already ordered weather tech floor liners and a trunk liner. I also need to order a new mount from proclip as the one for the Prius won't work. The new unnamed baby pics are attached. iPhone ?
Congratulations , I'm guessing had your Prius been parked in the parking lot with the Yellow Cement stopper, you would crushed the front bumper/lip ,,, prius to close to the ground , I enjoy the comments with members lowering them even more
Some more pics for everyone. This is inside. The rinky dink trunk pass through is a negative but other than that pretty awesome. I can haul a couple bodies and a shovel in the trunk if I had to. The car comes with automatic head lights with automatic high beams. Freaked me out on a dark stretch of road and they suddenly came on. I love the blue accent lights. They should use them on the Prii. Totally belt-less like the Prius. It also has that VPNS sound. It's louder than the Prii I think as I can hear it quite well in the inside with the radio off. iPhone ? Oh and dual climate control. No more fighting over the controls!!!! Radio is a different matter. I'll be glad when they get the XM installed. iPhone ?

ya, the pass through is not good for much, ski's? but the trunk is way better than gen I. plenty of room for us to spend 5 weeks in floridahave they improved the info meter? my wifes only stays on for 1 second after you shut the car off, and it doesn't even give trip mileage like her old one.
Didn't know about the auto hi beams. That should be useful. Also a big fan of the new center info display. It's nice to have at least 1 comfy car in the family. Enjoy!

Llumar CTX Tint would look great in this color. I think this is a new color, neither silver nor grey. I have llumar CTX 30% on all side windows and clear Air Blue 80 in front, rear and hatch.
That's very similar looking to my Prius. Well my ex-Prius. I had the Air Blue 80 on the front also with a strip of dart tint at the top. I'll be happy to get window tint again. Today with the sun I was like "ACK" I'm not a big fan of the sun on my skin. I hope they can schedule me for next week. But I'm hoping to have it all done at the same time, film and XM. We shall see.
Toyota just came out with 2015 Camry Hybrid SE without sunroof. I will check out both front seats for me.
So. I had to take the car back to the dealer. The satellite radio kept going in and out and kept saying "CHECK SXM ANTENNA". I was not happy. So it turns out when they installed the XM they failed to properly ground the system. I am averaging about 38 MPG with mixed driving. The best MPG I've gotten is 99.9 MPG but that was an EV Trip from one end of a strip mall's parking lot to another doing like 5MPH max. The best actually driving a distance was 62MPG which kind of surprised me. But that was on a multiple stop trip after warm up. Still not bad when you think about it. Now if I could have a little bit less of a lead foot I'd probably do quite well. Like that's gonna happen.
I have a 2015 Camry Hybrid SE rental for a couple days. Been looking at that rather small trunk pass through and wondering how useful that might be. Other night I bought a 6 ft wide patio roll up blind brought it home easily in Prius. Probably would have gone through Camhy pass through. I thought about Accord Hybrid and no pass through from trunk and that's a deal breaker.
you can get ski's, carpet, stovepipe, etc. but if the mob locks you in the trunk, your shoulders won't pass through.blueray, my wife is getting 46 on this tank, (mfd) she just laid down the gauntlet.
