So I have yet to see any yellow colored Prius c on my daily drives within SOCAL, has Toyota only sold this color in limited numbers?
I saw one in the dealership I bought my prius from in their showroom a few months back. But I haven't spotted one out in the wild yet, so they're probably a rare color or not too many people like them. Most common colors I've seen on a c while driving around was black, followed by red, then that habanero orange color oddly enough.
Who knows? It's probable a Regional thing and CA is also split into 2 Regions. Gulf States Region still does not offer the Yellow.
I've got one, and I'm in a Gulf State too... And no, I've not seen another 'Sun Fusion' out there. In Florida, white seems to be the most popular Prius color.
I only saw 1 many months ago at my dealer. I haven't seen any in the wild. Even during my 8,000 mile trip through the western US this fall.
Our local dealer had one yellow C on their lot a few months ago. None since then and I have yet to see one on the road. Rare bird around these parts.
You are in a Gulf State, but not Toyota's Gulf State Region (GST). Your in the Southeast Region. http://priuschat.com/attachments/regionallist-pdf.15366/
Yeah the dealer near me only had one and they did sell it, but I have not seen another on their lot. Its funny. Could yellow already be discontinued for the USA?
That yellow will be common enough in a few years when taxi fleets buy the used Prii C and re-paint them
Are Prius c's selling? I have not seen many 2015 c's on the road, and I have yet to see one in the new orange?
Have not seen one in the Dallas Area. Cars.com shows only 94 Sun Fusion 2015's available nation wide with a total of 5014 all color 2015's available. Only two in the GST Region. New 2015 Toyota Prius c - Yellow in 75235 Area - on Cars.com
Same source for 2015's says 21,539 Lift-backs, 5,160 v's (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon), 5014 c's and 891 PIP's...so the bread and butter still twice of all others combined.
I see quite a few Prii c on my drive to and from work. There are several which blend in with other 4 door hatch back compact cars. The silver ones look a lot like a Honda Fit or Toyota Yaris driving down the road so you can mistake them for one of those.
I was looking for white but unfortunately there was none. Since Toyota has $400 surcharge for white and C isn't a hot seller local dealers will not stock them. So we end up getting yellow It must be a local thing, most white ones end up in the south (Florida, SoCal, Arizona) and the rest get other colors. Around here most common at the silver/gray, with some blue mixed in
