Not sure if I have posted about this but I can get my concert grand pedal harp (in its case) in my Prius v. Plus bench, dolly and music stand and still have room for a passenger. The local Toyota dealer want to get a picture when I take it in for a oil change/checkup. Moo!
we used to have a guy here, who could get a full set of drums in the hatch of a lift back. maybe we can start a band?
Having spent a month in OKC one week, I'd pack up my harp, my bench, my dolly, my music stand and my passenger and get the hell out of Oklahoma if I were you. Hook em Horns.
oh you one of those.. reed guys/gals will never show w/o a couple clarinets and half dozen saxes.. b/c you never know what you'd need
Following a concert in New Jersey many years ago, I followed a Chevette hatchback, then a new model, out of the parking lot. It was full. The vanity plate on the car said simply "TUBA." I'd guess it might've been impossible to fit a tuba in small sedans of the day. (Prii were not yet available.)
