Just an artist impression, nice but no reality whatsoever.

Looks nice. I noticed something. It looks like it has steel wheels under the hubcaps. I wonder if they are going the way of the TCH and low end models you have to pay more for alloys? Of course, it's just a what if and may be what the new Prius will be. But it is nice.

Based on everything I've seen and read, I'm expecting the G4 to be less conservative than this rendering. My imaginary rendering has a higher tail, a lower nose, and a wedgier shape. I think it will be somewhat polarizing, but quite unique.

Walking the dog I saw this Lexus IS 350. I hope the next gen Prius front is not going to end up like this:

That's Lexus' design language. Toyota and Lexus have different design languages and they don't cross over.

15 miles will be good. Think about it. Right now it's 11 and some people already go 15-16 miles EV. At 15 miles rating some would be able to go 20 miles+ :p

15 miles EV for me is on the edge. I want 20 so I can know I could go 25 on good days and 15-16 on cold. I would love to play around with a PiP that does 30 though. I feel like PiP owners have a wider range of results than Volt owners. Am I wrong?

Whatever the range is though, I want the EV motor to be more efficient than the Volt. I want a 8 KWH battery system doing 30 miles ev...

exactly. and i understand that 15 won't cut it for everyone, that's why we need options. until there's a 500 mile ev and 5 minute charging.

the question is, will five miles sell more pips? i sometimes think they're gonna have to go all in for the $7,500. tax credit.

    Energi(20)-PIP(11)=9 ev miles

So, it's like trading 12mpg+cu ft space for 9 more ev miles; Compare Side-by-Side
