Today I Pumped up the tires (by hand with a wrench force bike floor pump) in my wife's new 2014 prius v three. 40f/38r. That was a workout. lol.

I also made an appointment at the tint shop for tomm for her car to get tinted out. I told them 35% all around and a sunstrip up top on the windshield. Her car is the Clearsky blue. Is 35% dark enough with the Bisque interior and all those big windows? I always go full limo 5% on my cars and she has driven them plenty of times w/o issue but at night I think it might be a little much for her especially since she wears glasses… Any input? not many tinted clear sky v pics online I noticed..

Do I hafta admit it

This was a specialty shop, but work on skyline's, wrx's etc. they said they were gonna call other shops to give me a fair quote. ( I'm sure they didn't know what to charge) Didn't bother with a dealership cause I knew it would be high. I don't see many modded prii here in CT, so I'm sure it's a rare request.

Just got her Monday. This makes my 3rd. Tinted on Tuesday. Suspension work in the near future, then back on the autocross course....

840 / 50 mpg = 16.8 gallons @ $2.50 / gal. = $42 each way…. even less if you hyper mile or go 55-60 mph!

My steering wheel is outbound from the customs hopefully will be delivered tomorrow and will install the same day no matter what.

35% with the bisque interior will be pretty lite in my opinion. That's what I have on my (now my wife's) black Prius v with bisque interior and wish I went darker, but I was sticking with what is legal here. I think 20% would have been really good, but not to dark.

 

Hooked up my bixenon and halogen high beams so that they both come on at the same time. Very bright
