******SOLD****** Originally planned to re-install these before trading in my Prius, but the new owner preferred my aftermarket parts. Set of 4 Ecopia EP20 tires (P195/6515 89 S) and OE springs for sale. Both have under 1K miles on them. Asking $ 100 for both. I am in Olympia WA and work in Tacoma. ***Edit local pick up only.***
Tires are P195/65R15 89S they are OE for GEN3. I'm planning on taking one tire to the post office/UPS to check for shipping options tomorrow.
Just did some research on shipping tires. Looks like the cheapest way to ship would cost at least $60. Quote from Tire Rack to ship a set of tires from Nevada to WA is $61. Ship Wheels Cheaply - How to ship a set of wheels on the cheap!
I bought my car Jan 2013 and took them off a month later for wheels and suspension upgrades. They have been sitting in my storage closet. I'm clearing my closet for a move to New York in May.
Just returned from USPS and UPS. USPS 2 Standard mail with 2 tires together is the cheapest option $95. UPS is way over $100. Tire Rack definitely has a deal with them to charge $60 for shipping.
I am sorry, but I am going to back off shipping them for now. I didn't realize all the packing materials and surcharges came with shipping a tire. I should have put them up for sale sooner. I am busy with relocating my family across the country now so if there is no local takers, I will just donate them.
Agreed, I definitely price them to move, even with the $70 mail in rebate, a new set would cost about $280 from tire rack plus shipping. The new owner of my Prius already had 2 spare set so he only bought my wheels. I would have put them up for sale earlier if I knew the private sale was going to be so fast and painless; plus I didn't have to re-install OE for the sale to happen.
tirerack just ships the tire itself with a label taped to it.... no packing paterial.. anyway, good luck with the sale.
I've also seen plenty of tires being shipped that way. However, that is the instructions I got from the post office and the UPS office here, also their websites asked for the same thing. Big business definitely gets a break on the rules. I apologize for the change of heart. If I wasn't already in the middle of a move, I would have invested some time to ship them. However, a trip to Home Depot and driving an hour to the closest package distribution center is not feasible for me at the moment.
***SOLD*** Thank You all for looking. local tire shop took them off my hands through CL. Gosh, if I only knew about that route.
