Is anyone out there aware of center caps that would work on Prius C stock steel wheels? Thanks in advance for any replies.
I'm interested too, for our Prius hatchback. Honda used to have sensible, silver painted and clearcoated steel rims with push-on center caps. They cupped over the center protrusion of the rim, friction fit. Cops in their Crown Vic's seem to have it down pat, a nice little chromed cap on just the center portion of black rims, covers both the hub opening and the lug nuts. The horror:
I too painted the ugly hub and put on chrome lugs but would really like a center cap. Yaris owners have used a dust cap from the napa balkamp catalog but not sure they fit a prius c since the center bores are different. I'm going to find out though. Part number 730-2411 I can't post links yet.
Got the napa part 730-2411 grease caps. They fit over the steel hub snug and I tapped them on with a rubber mallet. Went for a ride to the car wash and I suspect they're on until I take them off. At about $11 for a set of 4, I got 2 sets.
I would like to give credit to the original poster of these caps from a yaris forum, but I have to have 5 posts before I can put a link so this is 3.
5th post I also obviously put on chrome lugs, my pop had a set but they would have been worth buying.
Here's the link to the yaris forum page someone was nice enough to put the part number of the caps on. If you have a center bore between 54.1 and 54.7 it looks like these caps are the answer. Steel Wheel Center Caps - Toyota Yaris Forums - Ultimate Yaris Enthusiast Site
