Get power for Radar from cabin rear mirror ????

    I want to install antiradar and think to get power from cabin rear view mirror which has power for some switch I never use, do you think it's possible?

    Other option will be to sneak power cable to the top of window, I don't want to use existing power too much exposure.

    Easy. That switch on the mirror is for the garage door opener. If you can get the mirror assembly apart there is a red wire, which is always on, from the 15A Dome fuse, and a black wire which comes on with IGN, from the 7.5A ECU-IG fuse.

    That said, speeding in a Prius just seems like cognitive dissonance.

    Am curious what radar detector you are planning on using and where would you mount it after you power up? Please let us know and send some pix so we can see how it came out.....
