I did the bumper conversion on my 2010 to find out that the LED controller is not the same as my originals. New they are $200 each and I never got a chance to buy and install them. I've heard of people finding them used on eBay etc. for cheaper but never got to it. These headlights are brand new and only taken out of the boxes to look at them. Paid nearly $1400 for the pair and would be willing to sell these for $1100 shipped to the lower 48 states. I'm going to be trading in the car in the next couple of months which is why I'm selling. I'll be getting a 2015 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium. Time for a change and something even more fuel efficient for my commute. I test drove one today and it is an amazing and great looking car. I'm really looking for to it.
There are threads on installing them on a car that has the halogen headlights. It's not direct because of the differences in wiring but there are adapters that can be ordered from places like Yahoo Motors Japan. If you look up the user Bino he's done it and has the know how. It's more plug and play with my car being I already have LED's but I just never got the controller boxes to install them. Hope this helps. I'll check my PM box and see if I still have the latest no that Bino sent me for the wire harness. It can be done without it but does of course increase the difficulty because you'll need to order the right plugs. Here is the link he sent me. I'm on my phone so can't check if it's still good.
