Even though I'm not really looking at anything, that's a very interesting comparison of dimensions.
Thanks for sharing that! I've never taken the time to really compare the dimensions of the Prius against other vehicles. Everyone I know keeps telling me it's a compact car, but I keep wondering what compact car has the ability to carry so much :)

So for more $$$ you get the name plus less room and burn more gas.

There's always the cachet of the "L" badge. It also (in my eyes) looks better, particularly in F Sport package, and it handles better. But yeah, it's a pretty price to pay.

lol, not over here you don't. The base Lexus CT200h is cheaper than the base Prius!?! Work that one out. o_O

And Toyota UK are wondering why Prius sales have bombed. TOYOTA PRIUS (model family) - How Many Left?

There is a space for both in the market and the The CT's worth goes far beyond physical measurements.

Lexus service experience is second to none, might be worth it depending on your Toyota dealer.

CT is significantly more luxurious, quieter and—subjectively—nicer overall inside design-wise.

If you are looking at loaded Prius, and aren't focused on maximum interior space, you'd be crazy not to at least look at a similarly priced CT.

The Lexus is packing more weight for quiet, and the shape isn't quite as slippery as the Prius. Look at the differences in mileage between the Prius and the Prius V for a comparison...

I like the lexus ct 200. It's a great looking car, but It's a lux car. I think it needs premium fuel too.

That's pretty much a blanket statement that applies to everything beyond Toyota and Lexus as well.

Originally, I was dead set on getting a Gen3 with EVERY option possible (I was actually frustrated I couldn't combine features in the IV, V & Persona in one car). However by the time all the options added up, the price difference in the end wasn't so great...ESPECIALLY when you factor in features you get in the CT that no amount of modding will get you on the Prius (mainly being the independent rear suspension and interior fit and finish).

To anyone who hasn't done so yet, simply drive both cars side by side at 70+mph and you'll understand my point immediately.
After personally having gone through every option in the Prius lineup, I think the only thing that might sway me back would be the Gen4.

As for the "name/badge", that doesn't really matter to me since I always try to minimize visits to the dealer regardless of make/model. As a matter a fact, I explain it as a "Lexus Prius" to anyone who I encounter that is not familiar with the "CT".
