I just saw "Failure to Launch" and there was a blue 2nd generation Prius driving around near the end of the movie. Anyboby else spotted a Prius on film or on TV?

"Must love dogs" features a Prius making a high speed run through the city, squealing around corners, bouncing over curbs, and stopping at every drugstore, all in the interest of finding condoms. The Prius owner is a very nice guy who builds wooden boats, so I suppose the Prius extends that image.

Will Ferrell drives one in 'Kicking and Screaming'. He and his wife are in a parking lot looking for a spot and a Hummer pulls into two spots as he's trying to get into the one. Pretty funny interchange between the soccer-mom Hummer driver and Will...worth the rental.

Classic Will doing his thing as a soccer coach.

In many late chapters of " Desperate House Wifes" you can see a Silver Prius driving by in the background of some scenes, an ECO friendly subliminal advertising. ;)

"Curb Your Enthusiasm"...HBO show starring Prius-driving Seinfeld-writing Larry David.

Supposed to be very funny...got to get those DVDs, I believe season 1-3 are available to buy...maybe rent? Anyone know the rental status...

Seasons 1 - 4 are available to rent or purchase. We don't have HBO, so we rent them from Netflix as soon as they become available. My parents bought us the first two seasons...the second two are on my list. Absolutely hilarious! And yes, Larry David drives a Prius in the series AND in real life.

The new version of War of the Worlds (starring Tom Cruise) has a 2nd Gen Prius in it. It's towards the beginning of the movie when the aliens start to attack. Tom Cruise is running around with his kids trying to find a safe place to go and you'll see the Prius (can't remember the color), driving in the background. I think! I think this is where you see the Prius. I guarantee, however, that there is a Prius that you see driving in the background towards the beginning of the movie.

A beautiful example is the last episode of Six Feet Under - Claire leaves home to start her new life, driving off in a Prius. As we watch her driving there are intercuts with flash forwards of the final destinies of all of the characters of the series. Very moving, very fitting that the Prius was the car chosen.

I think that its brian's car and not the family's car. License plate reads BRICAR I think. The family I believe drives a station wagon. I've never seen the prius sitting in the driveway and never in the garage so I dont know where he keeps it.

There's a Prius near the end of "Crash" that goes by behind one of the accidents.

In "The 40 Year Old Virgin" there's a blue Prius that shows up in pretty much all the shots involving the PT Loser and its drunken driver.

Amen! You took the words right out of my mouth. Compared to other films with Prius in them, this episode takes it time showing off the Prius to its full advantage! :)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Dave. At least take heart in knowing the show wasn't actually cancelled - the creators simply felt the show had run its course. It was beginning to fel a bit long in the tooth by the time of the last season, but it was more than made up for by this final episode. A must see.
