Add backup camera to 2013 prius two

Trying to expand the options, could I mention the $100 back up camera kit sold at Costco in December? I have a level 3 so did not need it on the Prius but installed it on our 2003 Tundra which, like all pickup trucks, really needs one. The rear installation was just sliding a bracket behind the license plate, and connecting power to either reverse lights or taillights (which was my choice). The transmission from camera to front monitor is wireless, and front TV monitor can be powered by the 12-volt cigarette socket, so total installation time was 1/2 hour total and it works flawlessly. Normal Costco price for the"Yada" kit was $120, but sale was for $100. Just an idea.

joebiscuit, I have a Prius 2 with the factory head unit without navigation. It worked just fine with mine.

 

Really good for you. .. the guy told me cannot do it..because i have a factory head unit.. so i decided to buy pioneer 5000nex with navigation and i add mirror link with back up camera... working properly. ..

Questions ? I have remote start .when i use the remote start to start the engine. when i open the door the engine is shutting off. Any idea. ?
