Will powder coating withstand the high heat the brake components can reach though? Normally, high temperature paint is used.

 

I live here in San Diego and would be down for a meet up sometime this year.

I just got my Blizzard Pearl Prius back on 1-24-15.

So far all I've done was remove the stock hub cap covers.

Next thing I'm going to do is get my windows tinted.

I'm Filipino and Mira Mesa here in SD is still one of the biggest Filipino communities here. Hence why people jokingly refer to us as "Manila Mesa"...lol

Back in the day the 90's Mira Mesa was the spot where all the underground street racing scene was. Man I feel really old just even typing that up...lol

Further down south National City & Chula Vista are also a big Filipino communities.

 

I'll be there in a few months maybe may or June. Nice yeah I'm not sure where exactly I'll be living yet. Not sure where is best for low cost living but good benefits.

Haha, Kumusta Pare, I'm Filipino/American myself. Originally from Daly City, California (Also dubbed as Little Manila here in the SF Bay Area). I now live in San Jose. The pinoy contingency here in the Bay Area is very strong. We took our son to San Diego and La Jolla 2 years ago and hit up Sea World, Lego Land, Downtown SD, Petco Park, etc. Would love to meet up with all the SoCal members someday!

 

I promise to get them up tonight! On another note I bought these coilovers from redline 360, for $630 and this was by far the best deal/ transaction
I have ever done online! Other companies were selling them for $150-$200 more, Alex is the man! Car feels brand new with suspension since I bought it with 128k!

Wow, lots of Pinoys on here. I used to live in Mira Mesa as well but now I live in Temecula. I'm also Filipino and I drive to San Diego almost every other day for work. Let me know if you guys are all gona meet... I'll be there too!

What wheels did you go with, and how are they holding up?

 

I just went with the 17 inch Lexus CT200h wheels with Michelin Primacy. I love it. Clean look and rides great. I have some pics on here on page 241 and scroll down to the black Prius.

@Gaspeed how low did you drop your front and rear?

 

I'm not exactly sure how low it is but I want to say a little more than 2.5 inches for front and rear. What I do know is that my Tein Coils are maxed out to the lowest setting.
