So my 2010 Prius 3 with navigation syncs with my iPhone 5 fine and I can import the contacts and assign speed dials. It will remember them for about a day and then it forgets then and I have to do it all over again. What the heck is going on?! I just bought this car last week certified used from Toyota.
That's the problem when your phone is newer than your car. The Bluetooth software used in the 2010 models (or in any Toyota for that matter) had a few bugs.
Here's what I found. If your phone is turned off and you start the car and then turn the phone on you will loose the contacts. So make sure your phone and Bluetooth are on before you start the car .
