As far as I know all the specs are the same. There were only some cosmetic changes inside and out for the new 2015 MY.
from what I read the front 6-point grill, LED headlights STD and the rear camera option.. am I missing something?
Optional LED foglights, new paint colours (Electric Lime and a new deep yellow to replace Habernero). New LED taillight design, more aggressive front bumper with deeper apron, new round interior vents with piano black trim, new climate control layout with updated graphics (white backlit it appears instead of green) and of course the 2014-style Entune Audio systems (as opposed to the 2012-style with the Garmin-like interface)
looks nice, if I was one of those people who throw away money I would upgrade to this, but I'm not so I'm sticking with the first gen probably for the next decade or so...hell I saw two original prius on the road yesterday.
I have a feeling I'm going to have my C for a while. I'm hoping I can save up and then, years from now, when Toyota comes out with the G3 Prius C, I'll have enough for that one.
the changes are mostly cosmetic... Don't really care for grill/fog/tail lights exterior changes. Entertainment center and climate control look good, and I could definitely use Traction off button. Can it be wired on '14? Set of LED H11 with decent output is down to <90$. HID kit is less than half
Was looking through the specs: - 2015 has Entune radio on all models. One: 4 speakers Two: 6 speakers Three: adds Navigation and Entune App Suite, HD radio, HD predictive traffic and Doppler weather overlay, AM/FM cache radio, SiriusXM All Access Radio with 3-month complimentary trial MSRP gone up on all but Three: 1201 ONE Hybrid CVT Hatchback $19,080 $19,540 $460 +2.4% 1203 TWO Hybrid CVT Hatchback $20,030 $20,340 $310 +1.5% 1205 THREE Hybrid CVT Hatchback $21,765 $21,765 $0 0.0% 1207 FOUR Hybrid CVT Hatchback $23,360 $24,475 $1,115 +4.8%
The green seems like a faded green? Not sure if I like it. Lime green like jeep has would have been cool... The yellow is kinda "construction veh" yellow? I still like the orange though
From what I read in interview with Mazda Med exec Toyota will be supplying own engines, interior and sheet metal. Initially they will roll it out with SkyActiv 1.5. If ur looking for a small car 2 race, hopefully Mazda diesel will make to U.S. CX-3 looks like another good option.
this is what my interior looks like exactly. I almost bought a 2014 because of the incentives but when I sat in the 2015 it was an easy choice because the upgrades when side by side seem substantial enough. And at the end of the day I paid the same price.
my basic problem with this: that when you put front license plate it starts looking like this: Never liked it on Mazdas; glad that after all criticism they gone away from it. Another issue that it makes car look very unbalanced, sort of like you take this: and put this face on it:
