Has anyone in California had any luck and received a new Green CAV sticker yet? 15,000 new available from January 1st, 2015 and 1,571 issued as of January 6th (according to arb.ca.gov webpage, I can't share the link I'm not allowed to post links here). I recently got a PiP and applied for the sticker 2 days ago, not sure if these 15,000 stickers will run out in 2 days or 2 months. Any guesses? The 1,571 already issued could be the backlog from last year. Thanks!
It takes a few weeks for them to process your application. You could try calling (855)230-8747 to inquire about how backlogged they are. You will know that your sticker has been approved once your check is cashed. I mailed my application for my Leaf on Jan 9th and I'm still waiting (not sure it's the same queue, but it likely takes the same amount of time).
Good idea! I called DMV at (855)230-8747 and they told me that as of January 20th they had little over 12,000 stickers left, so according to that I will get one. When I compare this to what I wrote in my first post 1,571 issued (≈13,500 still available) as of January 6th, this would correspond to less than ~1,500 issued in 2 weeks. I'm hopeful! Thanks!
As of February 3rd, 2015: 3,552 Green Clean Air Vehicle decals issued in CA: Eligible Vehicles - Single Occupant Carpool Lane Use Stickers None for me yet....

Finally got my Green Stickers! Application mailed: April 7, 2015 DMV cashed check: May 22 Green Stickers received: June 6
