So, last Wednesday I dropped off my car at a local car stereo shop, having made an appointment for them to put in an Alpine single din head unit and a small subwoofer in the trunk. They called me after a couple hours and said that they thought I would be happy if they just installed a sub, but they wanted to install a bigger one than I had picked out. I said OK. Went to pick up my car later and the sub they put in takes up 60% of the trunk. It does sound great, but I'm not willing to give up that much of my trunk. The head unit still suffers from a lack of volume, so, I'll be going back today to make an appointment to get what I wanted done in the first place. So, not sure when my factory unit will be available, Should be within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Not sure what I'm looking for. I'm currently watching some auctions on ebay to see what they're going for. When it's available, I'll post here.
