Battery trick only thing? Comparison MPG will not go under .1 MPG. This is for a 2013 Prius

I disconnected the battery like previous posters said and it worked! I will now never go into the gas consumption options in the settings...... fearful of losing the fuel cost display!

Think you need to go into Fuel Consu Disp and switch back from "Eco savings" to "Consump"

Sadly I think you are right. The 2010 does not have the same software. It would have been nice if it did but it dosnt.

These steps worked for me too (2014 model). Didn't need to unplug the battery or anything.

Thanks OG1 for a clear and simple explanation for alternating between Fuel Cost and Saving on the trip summary display. I was able to set my 2015 Prius Persona

The above explains how to set it back to fuel cost vs savings. Here is what it looks like on the Prius. The following pics were taken from a 2013 Model Three Prius.
