Just saw several new v's at my local Toyota dealer today. The front bumper is not too bad in person, although the center grill section is all black, no matter what the exterior color and doesn't look as good to me as the exterior matching color bumper/grill in the 2012-14. That being said, the INTERIOR console lid material now covers almost ALL of the lid and I believe is in black vinyl to match the front cup holder surround. Does anyone know (or can find out) if these console lids with vinyl insert are interchangeable with earlier editions, and if so, what the new part number and cost are? It looks like the same console lid size and is a noticeable improvement over that ridiculous cheap and puny cloth cover. (I know; I could have stopped at the parts department, but forgot.) Is it too soon to get part numbers on the new model v? Thanks! Ivan White
Unfortunately I cannot answer any of your questions but I do like the face lift on the 2015 Prius v. With that said, Entune will definitely keep me from buying another Toyota.
Any upholstery shop can refit your cover with a vinyl of your choice. I've seen instructions posted here on how to take the cover off to get access to the top Just has 2 pair of armrests for office chairs recovered, a lots harder job. $40 a pair if I chose scrap they had lying around.
