I went over forums and they all have separate threads for OEM colors. My car is Blue. I want to see your mod and how these mods show up on these car. I should begin first. My mods: FRS wheels Projector fog light Megan racing coilover (i now have some issues with the coilover) Plan mods: black plastip dip wheel or roof. Want to see how it looks on blue. If you did on your cars, please show pictures
I saw lot of pictures of white prius with black wheel, black roof/hood. I'm really jealous. But dont know how it show up on blue. In my area, i see mostly white, then black. Rarely see blue, red and yellow
I have my prius 2 that I had dipped flex blue (factory was silver) with a black roof, don't have too many pics but maybe this will help give you a idea, and going to pick up my prius 5 which is blue ribbon this week that I just got after trading my 2 in which will be waiting to get modded once it gets warmer out.
Here you go. I was trying for something 'artsy' with this one. I've since turned it B&W and made it my phone lock screen. Pic in my profile is probably the cleanest one I have on the day I brought it home.
How much money to dip the whole car? I love the rising blue of vw golf r(my dayly dream car) It seems our blue prius dont look good with black hood/roof since the blue is not bright enough for contrast
It's about $450 to start to get the sprayer paint etc. if u want just a matte color. But if u want a pearl it goes up from there, did my old car 2 different colors, the matte blue and a chameleon Pearl. Now trying deciding what to make my new car once it warms up.
Didn't peel it just traded it in the way it was, had to convince them that they didn't have to repaint the car, just peel it off... lol. I was gonna peel it and do a new color this spring anyways but couldn't pass up the deal on the 5 with atp and headrest monitors for the little ones(no more wires all over the place with the removable ones I had) since gas is so cheap, I guess. Now I gotta start from square one on the modding, but still have the tanabe springs and 17" Konig feathers for the summer.
