what 12v battery will fit and be adequate in '06 Prius?

    a little mad? in my case, it's light depravation. nothing a few weeks in the caribbean wouldn't cure.:p

    right, but you would lose data every time you powered down.

    Unless you had a memory-keeper battery isolated from the main power source.

    This is mod I might consider, if I hadn't figured out a foolproof way of keeping my battery from going dead. Firstly, I drive it nearly every day to keep it topped up, but if I had to leave it for a few weeks, I'd attach a battery-tender. I won't be running it down in acc-mode because I don't use it; I use ready-mode instead, because it keeps the battery charged and it shuts itself off after being left on for awhile.

    I still think this was still a useful discussion (albeit a bit mad), but speak for yourself.
