I have a 2014 Prius Four and I am in the process of converting from halogen to LED headlights. I have 2010 JDM LED headlights and the wiring harness for the conversion. The last piece that I need are the Computer, Light Control LED modules for each headlight. Last week I went to my local Toyota Parts department and ordered the Computer, Light Control LED modules and eight screws. I open the package and the modules are very tiny and are Part #85967-30070. Please see the picture below to show that I definitely received the wrong part for my headlights. What is the exact part number for the 2010 headlights that I have? Do I need to order the Part #85967-47010? What is Part #85967-30070? Is it for the 2012 - 2015 Prius? I need to return these and get the correct part for the 2010 LED headlights. I would like some clarification. Thank you very much! Sergio.
Issue resolved. Apparently, there is a difference with the Computer, Light Control LED unit between 2010 - 2011 (Part #85967-47020) and 2012 - 2015 (Part #85967-30070) headlights. The 2010 - 2011 unit is larger and heavier. I returned the one for the 2012 - 2015 and received the 2010 - 2011. I hope this information could help someone in the future.
Ehh don't JDM LED lights kick up to the wrong side because they are right hand drive? Mine flare up to the right to light the signs and reduce glare to the oncoming cars. I'd imagine the JDM ones will do the opposite and flare to the left and glare the other drivers in America.
