I bought a used Nav display from ebay and had to try to get the video playing option working. I used the information found here in this thread and success! Video is so so for composite video input but very watchable.

Hello to all. I need help. I have a jdm 3rd gen which came with toyota nszt w64. The vtr cable that came with it was dedective
Since i could not find a new one i amd resetting its connections... i dont get what the pin 5 and 8 connect to? The rest i have gotten hold of but i cannot activate vtr from the player and i have heard its to do with the pin 5 and 8... help would be appreciated....

I know that this is an old post, but I’ve looked everywhere for a hint on how to do this and I’m at a loss. If you could point me in the right direction to “unlock” this capability I would be eternally grateful.
