Just bought a new '15 Prius to replace the '08. The '08 was trim 4 and had the auto-dimming rear-view mirror with Homelink. That was the only feature I wanted out of trim 4 in the '15, so instead of paying $2,500 to go from trim 3 to trim 4 the thought was to just buy the mirror separately. My local after-market installer says they don't have an aftermarket mirror they like so they don't have anything they'll install. Any suggestions for an aftermarket auto-dimming mirror with homelink-like functionality for a '15 Prius?
Traded my 09 for a 14. 09 had homelink mirror 14 did not. Asked the dealer to swap mirrors as part of the trade. works great
Ah, didn't think to ask about that. I ended up getting a mirror off Amazon, will try and get the local custom shop to install it and share results.
