According to my owners manual the "maint req" for oil change is only on vehicles sold in the US. So does this mean that Canadian sold vehicles Maint req light will not come on to remind you to change your oil? If that's the case is there anyting I need to reset once I've done the oil change? What interval is everyone using? I've read everything from 7200 km thru 15000 km.
read the manual and it says every 8000km thank you for that information but I still don't know about the Maint req light, or if there is anything I need to reset after the oil change.
If you don't see the MAINT REQD light appear, then there is nothing to reset. If you do see it come on, then reset it according to the owner's manual or info posted here on PriusChat.
As far as I know no light. None on Can 3rd gen. That link is weird, you can't "back up" in the address. You can however sub different years, think it started on 14, and I just edited to 04 and it was available. Do download while it lasts.
