What have you done to your c today?

I believe they are aftermarket. Someone added heat warmers. Either that or they are in a different region.

 

added a cheap shark fin I found on ebay ($20 or so from china)

It's reception was being touted as better than oem, but it's actually worst; however, I sto pped listening to radio in a good while, so whatever, it looks a little cooler now

Seems the guy stopped selling the "prius" version or whatever, but he still has shark fins for other cars and he just has the same picture and specs for all the functional shark fin he seems to be selling...and yes it comes pre-painted in your choice of white, black, gray, red, or silver (sucks for other colors I guess). The quality of the paint is pretty nice (I got white, so I guess I can't say much) and it seems to have a thin clear glossy plastic film over the shark fin. Shipping was pretty fast for being from china and free (2 weeks), other than that good luck...and also as a side note, it won't fit the prius c 3/4 antenna base (due to them having a bigger base for whatever reason), unless maybe you do a little modifying to the shark fin.

And yea...I can't justify paying the $80+ for the beatsonic shark fin (maybe theirs has better reception? but w/e I don't listen to radio much)...then beatsonic still wants to also charge a pretty hefty shipping fee even though they're also in the same state as I am

 

Mine already survived a 800 mile road trip (there and back) with me doing upwards of near 90mph on some stretches of highway, heavy rain pounding, and high head/sidewinds...so it should be fine as long as you clean before you stick it on (there's actually more 3m surface area then I thought it would have)...I was actually more worried about the 3m stick on window visors I had, since they have such a small strip of 3m on them, but so far so good too

 

How do they fare against really muddy weekends?
