I removed the prius c, and the hybrid synergy badge and replaced the toyota cowboy hat, with a SCION that lights up at night, I think it looks good.

I am having trouble getting pics from my phone so I will post them later IMG_20131101_155809_786.jpg

you can see some of the adhesive under the emblem. but this image is taken with the hatch raised up because of the lighting. you cant see the tape unless you get your face down by the bumper and look up.

No Badge but did add the TRD license plate frame. Oh and a Hot Rod mag decal on the window just to mess with them.

Be careful with the blue marker light.
Some states can get kinda persnickety about that. BTDT... ;)

I like where you're going with the whole re-badge thing. If there's one thing that the Hybrid community needs it's a little more levity.
We take ourselves waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously!

    Good Luck with your car.
Talk to the local LEOs about the light. It probably won't be a problem. Mine isn't, but I made sure first! I had a state trooper give me a verbal warning once (waaay out of town) but I just turned it off and gave him the Yessir, Yessir, Three Bags Full treatment and he didn't write me for it.

Don't let the haters talk you out of riding YOUR ride! :)

Just putting the words Hot Rod on the back of my Prius C tells the Tailgaters I mean business. Better then the Apple or save the Whales etc Obummer stickers. Prius does have a stereo type that I just do not fit in to. I do not Break for Wheat-grass shakes.

^^ Haha, nice! Sometimes I let some air out of my front tires and turn off the economy drive so I can chirp the tires off the line while drinking my soy latte, extra foam in one hand and shaving with the other. But yeah, the whole wheat grass shakes thing is pushing it too far LMAO. : )

i will be putting the side HYBRID badges and the rear HYBRID badge back on my car at some point. i agree it looks cleaner without it. but i also read here on PriusChat that first responders need that info in case of any serious accident. ,,,maybe i might put a Yaris badge on the back though instead of the Prius c. maybe,,,

I like the look of a clean rear panel. Word upon word only benefits the company.
Replacing badges with others , well, I guess you need surplus time on your hands.
    I wouldn't.

Here you go. I did this back in summer, ordered the logo on E-Bay for $10:

All I did was clean area thoroughly, dry, use hot air dryer on the old badge, use dental floss to pry it up, then removed the adhesive with a credit card, rag, and goo-be-gone. After that, I cleaned the area and applied the new Aqua badge, which comes with 3M adhesive tape pre-applied to it. Took about 45 mins.

The badge itself seems to be made of the same material as the oem Prius C badge (plastic/metal?). Although I do kind of miss the dual-color design of the oem logo, all in all, I like the Aqua logo a lot, and given the color of my car, I think it jibes a lot better with it too.

Chrysler did that a lot in the mid 2000s. They also did a lot of SPECIAL EDITION cars w/ Special Edition badges. With nothing special about them.
