The problem with my 2005 Prius (45k miles) is that sometimes the blower works well. Then unexpectly it will just stop working at all. While it is not working it gves out a faint high pitched wine. Then after a couple of days it will just start working again. I try to get it into the dealer but theywill only look at it by appointment, by then it has started working again. They check it and say they can not find anything wrong, and it works fine for them. Has anyone had this problem before. This is my wifes car and I don't have access to it all the time. I will appreciate any help you can give.
Are you sure it NEEDED to blow? In Auto mode, it only blows as much as it thinks you need, like a lot (plus recirculate on) when the car is really hot...
