Narrowed it down to these two after lots of research. Looking to take advantage of Discount Tire Sale. Would love Nokian WRG3's but there are not many sets left this season and I am unwilling to pay the excessive premium for them. Feel free to write in your own vote.
I would go with the narrower of the two 205/50/17. Your winters are tough at times, are they not? Hal
Yes winters are horrible here. We already had measurable snow a few times. I can see how the skinnier and taller tires would be better in the snow, fill the wheel well a bit better, be closer to stock rolling diameter and provide a better ride. However the tires listed in that size are a discount tire specific model and far more unproven. If they sold the dws in that size it would be a done deal but of course life can't be that easy!
I use WR g2 Nokian on my gen 2 and 3. They are on full time on the gen2. I install the Ecopia b 20? On the gen 3 because they give excellent fe. for the summer . Hal
