I just bought a satellite radio-ready 2008 Prius. Although the audio system does not toggle to satellite radio when I push the AM/SAT button, there is a satellite radio antennae on the dashboard. I suspect that, before selling me the car, the dealership took out the satellite receiver, but would like to confirm. Where should I look for the receiver? Behind the glove boxes (upper/lower)? Under the passenger front seat (the case for the 2010 model, I believe)?
According to your profile you have a 2008 Gen II. The location spot of your the XM/Sirius receiver in under the rear seat, on the passenger side. There is a bracket it slips onto, then you bolt it in! run the wires to the Head Unit and plug in.
