This morning I got a yellow warning light flash for a few seconds and then turn solid after driving on the highway for a few minutes. It looks this: (_!_). It is located on the right of the dash display. I just changed my oil and put on winter tires myself two days ago. I hope it isn't related to my maintenance. I then looked up the symbol in my owner's manual. It looks like a tire pressure warning signal and can be related to my winter tires. The thing is, I own a Canadian Prius. It shouldn't have a TPMS. Or did I interpret the light wrong?
Yeah they do have Tire Pressure Monitor System. OP, check your pressures, lol. Hang on, hang on, just put on your winter tires? Maybe they DONT have the TPMS? Then that's why your light's on; just ignore it.
Ah yes, the infamous tire malfunction light as it's called by the federal register: Federal Register | Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Controls and Displays It's better know as: An exclamation point in parenthesis An exclamation point in brackets An exclamation point in a horseshoe Flames A wishbone An exclamation point in a fish bowl An exclamation point in a cup A candle in a glass
Back when I was in high school, (_!_) was the text short hand for mooning you with my fat behind... LOL.
