    Hello Guys.
Is there a way to mod the automatic windows up and down. What I mean is that If i arm the alarm with remote, all four windows will automatic roll up. The honda accord has the function which will roll down the windows by the remote before you enter.

You use the phrase "is there a way" and the answer to that is always "yes, if you spend enough time and money" but it is not a stock feature. Why would you have the windows down? It is almost always better to use A/C.

i think someone diagrammed it out here, pretty successfully. it's just a matter of finding the lock button wire in the door panel and crossing to with the window wire, iirc.

May I ask why I should use the A/C when it's 74 degrees with 11% humidity out right now? Is this one of the "almost always" situations? I'm still confused on when it's considered okay NOT to use the A/C.

Many owners buy a Prius for Gas Mileage, above 35 MPH, wind resistance from windows down exceeds the A/C compressor power drain.

Both the 12 volt and big batteries are cooled by the A/C, never 'tough it out' to save gas, use the A/C.

After market alarms have had this feature for decades. It's a simple mod for a car stereo shop.

Sometime, I have passengers who always roll down the window even the AC is on (why? no idea). As parking, I don't usually check for closing windows.

no, i'm almost positive i read about the window mod, but if it was done prior to the new priuschat software cutover, it may be lost.

Now you can just purchase on OBD2 module that will allow for auto window roll up when it locks, and window roll down capability with 3 disarm clicks from the factory remote. Just look on eBay/Google. I think their around $70. Mine works awesome and took seconds to install in the OBD2 port.

I just recently bought the OBD2 module that allows you to open and close your windows from your remote. Was a simple install, just plug it in and leave it. Check out the hybridpit website. Sorry I'm too new, unable to leave links.
