Resetting "Maintenance Reqd" light

    I just had the 5,000 mile service done and the dealer reset the "Maintenance Required" dashboard light. I haven't seen this documented. Can anyone tell me where the reset procedure is described?

    Supposedly it's in the owners manual. goes something like make sure your in the odo mode (not trip 1 or 2).from the car off, hold down the odo trip button. while holding button in put foot on brake and power on.hod it for a few seconds the odo will show several dashes through it when its done your set.

    I had my car serviced at 4200 miles and the maintenance required light came on as expected at 5000 miles. I followed the directions in the manually and it corrected the light flawlessly.
