Holding both unlock and lock down on 2013 Prius 2 worked as well, thanks!

I have the 2014 V Luxury (In Canada) and I couldn't find settings on my nav display in vehicle settings for the door unlock, so I tried the remote thing and it worked. I sat in the car with the engine and everything off, and pressed the lock and unlock at the same time, and held them until the car chirped, then I got out and tried it. It now unlocks all doors with the drivers handle, not just the driver's door.

I have a 2014 prius V3 and the remote method works great. Thanks. No more double clicking to tapping the unlock button on the door to let my passengers in. Now the key fob can stay in my pants

I set my 5s with the key fob. Somehow, the setting was reset back to default ( All door OFF). It's my third time changing the setting again. Anyone knows what's going on?

If you are changing the settings on the vehicle's center screen it is easy to forget to press save before returning to main screen. That would explain the illusion of the setting returning to previous state, but also mean that the setting never changed. Were you in a rush and didn't test that the setting took effect?

I just changed my v5 to unlock-all-doors-from-the-driver-door using the key fob method. I think the nav display menu setting is gone for 2014 and they didn't update the manual. I have to say I'm very disappointed in Toyota if this is the case. I don't remember finding an error like that in a manual for any other car I owned and this is my first Toyota.

I just did this with Carista! One of the settings is to unlock all of the doors with just one press of the unlock button on your fob/remote. There are cheaper Bluetooth dongles but I bought Carista's for $40 on Amazon and paid $20 for the in-app upgrade. I also disabled the constant reverse beep (it's now just a single beep). Totally worth it.
