I understand about the dealer pre-ordering process. I was referring to the poster who suggested that since AB 2013 passed and was signed by the Governor, that the limit was now 70,000; my understanding is that the 55,000 limit still applies until AB 2013 takes effect in January 2015.

 

I apologize for the confusion (and for hijacking your thread Dianne), I simply meant to ask if supply was still super constrained on the 2015s (hence the likely reason for the PiP selling so poorly in September). I should have started a new thread in retrospect.

 

My understanding is that you can buy your plugin now and apply for the sticker. They are taking applications and they will start sending out the stickers on January 1st.

 

January 1st is a government and postal holiday, not a chance they'll send out stickers then! Get your facts straight!



I'm in the same boat with my wife's new Volt. Sent in the application on Monday, but we won't get the decals until next year.
