I installed Tanabe coilovers 2 weeks ago with only a 1 inch drop...it's too soon to see any camber wear but my mpg's have remained the same. If there was increased wear, I would have probably seen a slight decline in MPG's from the dragging on the corners of the tires but everything seems to be ok so far.

Get it aligned ASAP. My car felt fine but the tires wore out fast! And you won't notice it because it was on the Inside edge.

My tires still look great... had Toyota replace my driver side axle a month or so ago because of a dumb mistake of mine. Not sure if they needed to do another alignment after but everything I'm reading says they don't have to. Now all of a sudden this week I have this going.... describes it to a T

You're talking about the REAR camber? (@ OP)

I can't see the rear camber changing from lowering: the rear bearing is housed in a compact frame which is bolted to the (rigid) cross beam.

    My problem solved....

Well.....driver side lower control arm bolt was loose. Weird because instructions for install of front sway call for to loosen them but we torqued everything back to spec. Not sure if Toyota messed with that during axle replacement but my friend at the alignment specialist shop says if he had installed axle he wouldn't have touched it so they shouldn't have but who knows. Fixed now and glad it wont nothing major!
