iPhone 6+, Bluetooth & Siri Troubles

I have an iPhone 6+ and a 2007 Prius, and have never had problems connecting via Bluetooth. However, voice dialing via Siri and the iPhone 6+ has been broken since day one, which is a problem I never had with my iPhone 5.

Can anyone confirm if they also have the issue? Basically, if you try to voice dial by saying something like "Call my wife", Siri will start the process (a call attempt will show up in my call history), but it will fart when actually trying to make the call, as in it never even starts to ring the person on the other end.

If I disconnect from Bluetooth and try the same thing just with the handset, all works fine.

 

Thanks. I actually hoped 8.1 would fix it since the release notes said it resolved some "Bluetooth issues", but it was actually loaded before I posted this thread (but didn't resolve the issue, obviously).

I may try re-pairing, but the connection doesn't seem to be the issue per se: I can still make Bluetooth calls, it's just that voice dialing is borked.

Since others seem to experience the same issue, I will probably mention that to support if I contact them again.
