Crazy situation! Between my fiance and I we have had 3 cars for the past month since I bought my Rav EV. I previously drove a PIP. She drove a 04 Corolla. We agreed we would keep, and she would drive, whichever sold last no matter which one it was (between the PIP and Corolla. You'll have to kill me to get me out of the Rav EV) We take a lot of road trips and I hoped hers would sell first so we could keep my PIP. I like the radar cruise, one touch windows and the seats. I found a buyer and met him a few hours away from home to do the exchange today. While I was gone a cash buyer stopped by and bought her Corolla.... Now we need a backup.... I dont want to spend a lot of money so instinctively I am thinking a 09-10 regular Prius. What do you suggest?
Sorry I meant you or your wife could have made a call, saying you are selling the car. Just so the other person knows. Neither of you did that?
I thought about that. A day after selling my 2012 for $23k with 43k miles, I saw a 2013 with 15k miles for $23,600! I'm thinking about getting that one.
I am pretty sure his is a base though. Mine was an advanced, so thats part of the difference. I just found this one on craigslist. Its not a pip but the price is right. 2011 Toyota Prius Three - Excellent Condition There are also these 2011 Toyota Prius II Exc Cond, Low Miles, Warranty, MD Inspec, 50 mpg 2010 Toyota Prius IV
ouch, you only got 23 for an advanced? mine must be worth about 16. that's a 50% drop in 2 1/2 years.
I had a little damage to the front right fender and the rear bumper was cracked. I pocketed about $6000 in insurance payments because the accidents were not my fault. I also only paid around $32000 for it brand new. So I figure I paid about $4000 to drive the car for about 26 months.
