No readings on display screen

    I went to turn my 2005 on today the normal startup screen came on then it went dark for about 5 secs then came on with the normal consumption display but with no readings. Also there is no radio memory and I can't see volume control or radio tuning. Has anybody seen this before? Or if there's a way to reset the system? Here is what I mean by no readings...

    it may be a defective mfd solder joint. i believe there is an extended warranty.

    yes I'm also think that this devis the defective and came with a problem
