Someone mentioned earlier that the inside walls of the intake have a different texture to them.

  2. Interesting, pre delivery service on 12V Battery. I'd wager that is never done!

Since we have several different years and models that these TSBs refer to, it would be nice if there was a way to narrow down which vehicles they refer to so we don't have to read thru all of them to see if they apply to our vehicle. Just a thought and if it's already been done can someone direct a link there from this post?

There are various 3rd party listings for TSBs, but I find them very incomplete.
The NHTSA is the best bet, but, like I said, incomplete.

Dealership claims #TSB-0041-15 relates to my issue even though my DTC is not mentioned in the TSB summary that I can see online. Anyone have access to the full TSB?

Sorry to ask what may be obvious, but here goes:

I didn't really know what a TSB was until I saw the thread we're in.
So, I read a little about TSB's here:

How Can a Technical Service Bulletin Help Me?

    I bought a used 2013, recently.

How do you guys approach this ?
Should I read through all the TSB's to see if anything rings a bell?
How would I know if any of the TSB's have been performed on my car?

    Thanks for any advice,
    PNB

I have almost 75k on my Toyota Prius 2013.

    I've experienced the:

    T-SB-0102-11 Rear Brake Squeal

    And

    T-SB-0136-11 Front Brake Caliper Rattle.

Problem was, the noise were intermittent.

According to the TSB, it only applied to the 2010-2011 models.

It's obvious that the problem still exists with the 2013.

I wonder how much it is going to cost out of pocket.

I'm sure it can't be cheap with the stealership.

This is basic brake lubrication. Any mechanic can do it. Shouldn't cost over $100 and maybe less.

@Rebound , according to the TSB, on top of basic luvrication, there are a few new parts and replacement parts that need to be installed so the problem does not happen again.

Brake shims? They cost a few dollars. Brake pads? $25 for two wheels, including the shims. And the squeaking can still happen after you do this. Welcome to the world of disc brakes.
