I got a Toyota Aqua G (2013), but there is no "ECO Score" in my display. Is there a way to enable that or is it only found in some vehicles? My display is somewhat similar to below images. Thanks.
Does your steering wheel have a "disp" button as shown here? http://media.ed.edmunds-media.com/toyota/prius-c/2012/lt/2012_toyota_prius-c_det_lt_42513_600.jpg The US Prius c has an actual screen for the information you show, and the disp button on the steering wheel switches between different screens: http://www.digitaltrends.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/2012-Toyota-Prius-C-Review-dash-cluster.jpg
Yes, it has the display button in the steering wheel. However, when I press it to change the displays, I only get the same display with some parts of the screen is switched off. But Eco score section is never seen yet.
I've seen some Aquas have a segmented monochrome LCD display like that that's different from the North American Prius C. Perhaps it depends on the region. Maybe it's more reliable in extreme temperatures?
If you look at the close up picture you well notice that the screen on that car can't display anything but trip, odometer and range. The display on the U.S. prius c is different, we have a screen similar to a smartphone's or a TV's that have actual pixels.
You're not missing much. It is a silly distraction that I never use. They should have designed something else for that screen.
I have Japanese domestic model Aqua 2014 & there is no 'Energy Monitor' display. I think the feature is available only in Prius & Prius C (American or other export models)
