So I bought a used 2013 Prius c in black with 10k on the odometer last week. My FJ Cruiser, which is lifted with 33" tires, just broke 100k miles and the commute to work was killing me gas wise so it had to be done. Now the FJ will be for pleasure only, boat towing, etc... My gas savings alone just driving the Prius to and from work basically match the monthly payment lol. So far, I pretty much love the car It has the six speaker system which sucks The only place for a sub is of course the cargo area. I've procured a second set of those foam blocks over the spare and I'm going to see if I can come of with a worthwhile solution to have a sub in that space. I'm going to construct a box in the same shape basically. Any interest if I have success? While I'm making speaker box, there is no reason it couldn't be made to be a locking cargo compartment. Thoughts? Anyone already done this? I've googled around and not found something on the market to fit the bill.
